Charity Events

The Ries Financial Group is proud to support local charities! Below are just a couple of the events we have held to help raise funds for charities that impact our lives and our local community.

Bike Builds with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County

Since 2010, The Ries Financial Group has been partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County to help them reach their mission "to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens."  Through 2011, we have donated, and helped to build,  27 brand new bikes for children in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County.   If you would like to help with one of our builds, please click here  to contact Jenn.

Annual Osteogenesis Imperfeca Walk with Isaac

Benefiting the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation and the OI Center at Kennedy Kreiger

In 2012, we'll be at it again, marking our fifth year for Walk with Isaac!  Come out and join us, along with your favorite Star Wars characters, on Thursday, July 12, 2012.  We'll have a lot of fun while raising funds to support the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation! Game time is 7:05 p.m., but gates open one hour earlier.

Tickets will be on sale soon! If you'd like to reserve some today, contact Jenn at (410) 809-6704 or simply click here.

Special THANKS to our Star Wars visitors from the 501st Legion of the Old Line Garrison, www.oldlinegarrison.com, who will be joining us for the fourth year in a row.

After our first five years sponsoring Walk with Isaac, The Ries Financial Group has helped raise over $50,000 to support the work of the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation through Making Strides for Better Bones: Walk with Isaac

Five Dollar Fridays

Each Friday, the employees at our office can wear blue jeans to work if they "pay" $5 to do so.  Each quarter we select a different charity to send the funds to.  Listed below are the charities we have given to over the last few years.  You can visit the web site for many of the charities by clicking on the charity name.  If you have a charity you would like us to consider donating to, please click here  and let Jenn know.
