Charity Events

The Ries Financial Group is proud to support local charities!  Below are just a couple of the events we have held to help raise funds for charities that impact our lives and our local community.

 

Cruise For A Cause

We're proud to say that Joe chaired the 2nd Annual Cruise For A Cause ride to benefit Cancer LifeNet at University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in 2015.  That year, Stifel Bel Air took the Title Sponsor spot and everyone from the Bel Air office showed up to help with registration and show their support! Our event was held on September 26, 2015, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, and we are happy to say that year's ride raised over $18,000 for Cancer LifeNet, drawing over 150 riders.  

 

Marine Corps Toys for Tots

Over the last few years, our Stifel office has been a drop-off location for Toys for Tots.  If you'd like to participate, simply stop by with a new, unwrapped toy.  To learn more about the Toys for Tots program, click here.

 

Bike Builds with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County

Since 2010, The Ries Financial Group has been partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County to help them reach their mission "to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens."  Through 2012, we donated, and helped to build, 35 brand new bikes for children in the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County.  If you would like to help with one of our builds, please click here to contact Jenn.

 

Osteogenesis Imperfecta Walk with Isaac

Benefiting the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation and the OI Center at Kennedy Kreiger. 

In 2012, we celebrated our sixth Walk with Isaac!  We had a lot of fun and thank the Aberdeen Ironbirds and Ripken Stadium for their support!  After six years sponsoring Walk with Isaac, The Ries Financial Group helped raise over $50,000 to support the work of the Osteogenesis Imperfecta Foundation through Making Strides for Better Bones:  Walk with Isaac.

Five Dollar Fridays
